Amid the rushing & bubbling waters of the upper Caragh river system, into Bridia valley, Loch Cloon, Rea & Acoose not forgetting the waters of loch Caragh. The heavens open & rain falling on the sodden turf gives an increase in the smallest streams raising flood waters that make this system probably one of the best spate rivers in Ireland. with the flood on the next high tide a rush of Salmon returning from the North Atlantic up past Caragh bridge not stopping still eager to bite at almost anything that is presented, Through loch Caragh into the Upper Caragh river resting a while as the floodwaters recede waiting for the next flood then onward up to the lochs past Beelelaw bridge to Cloon & loch Rea along the Owenroe to Acoose.
